Cleaned Carb...now won't start at all

Previously the cart would only start with the choke...it would need choked every time we stopped. Now we've cleaned the carb, and it won't start at all. Any suggestions as to what the problem could be?

Took the carb back off...there is fuel in the line and when I put a wire in the hole that the line is connected too, it appears that there is fuel in there too. However, there is no fuel in the bowl at all...it was dry. The spark plugs are dry. Any suggestions?

It's a 1992 EZGO Marathon, 4 cycle engine.

When you pull off the bowl look at the float from the side and move it up and down. Does the jet move with it? If that jet does not come down with the float it will not let any gas in the bowl.

Thanks...I think we're just going to order a new carb. This one hasn't worked right since we got it. Even when it was running it had to be choked each and every time it started, even when warm. Now it's just not working no matter what we do and we're beyond frustrated.
