97 club car valve sticks
I have a 97 club car ds with a fe290 engine that sat for a couple of years. Needless to say it was a little gummy inside. I took it apart and cleaned it all up and found a stuck valve. I got the valve out and cleaned it up put it back and it was free while working it by hand. I put it back in buttoned everything back up and it ran fine for awhile. It quit running so I took the valve cover off and the valve stuck again. I repeated the process a couple more times but it still sticks. I thought the valve was bent but it is not. The only thing I can think of is there is a problem with the head but not sure. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 97 club car valve sticks
What did you use to clean the valve guide inside? Theres got to be something in side the valve guide, rust or something. Need to find a small wire brush to clean it, something like a barrel cleaner for a 22 rifle maybe???????
