Default How do we speed it up?

So what's the scoop on speeding up a 2010? Has it really been done?

Don't have a cart yet. I see most Tomberlins are Curtis controllers. I would be willing to share in the cost of a programmer if that is all it takes to bump the speed up a bit.
I am getting a 2010 soon so will have some info then.

My questions are

1. So where are the other Tomberlin folks?
2. Are they just ok with the speed they have?
3. Is it possible to get a programmer that can make the changes?

Yep , first a 2010 if it were CC or EZGO would be new here and would be a challenge depending on
what got changed out of 2009 , But a Tomberlin ???
Good Luck !

Tomberlin's are actually not bad lsv nev's whatever you want to call it, they do use curtis controllers, so you can upgrade to a larger controller say 650amp, to gain a little speed, but u figure stock the cart is already 20mph if it a street legal version, But thats going to cost a pretty penny on top of the high $$ for the cart, Honestly though I would check with an Ezgo/Club car/Yamaha, your going to find it easier to upgrade with the main 3 and maybe even for a little less money.

My Tomberlin LSV is fast enough to make the police pull me over.

My Tomberlin does 26mph and thats pretty good. It works fine considering I use it alot to play golf in. That is plenty fast on the course.

Mine does 26 too, although I still plan on tweaking it when out of warranty. Still would like to hear how to do it. Motor or controller or both? Would love to just take it to someone to do the work
