1991 EZGO Marathon Maintenance
Hello all,
I have a 91 Marathon gas. It's my first cart, so I need some guidance on how to make it last. I am curious how to perform maintenance to it. Does it have lube fitting spots, diff fluid check or change (if so what goes in it) etc etc. We use it for camping and want to make sure it is reliable as we take it a few miles from the camper to the beaches and restaurants at a time. Thanks so much for any advice! |

Re: 1991 EZGO Marathon Maintenance
I have a electric Marathon but the front is the same . You have grease/ zerk fittings on the front steering spindles and one on the steering box, maybe a couple underneath on the other steering stuff cant remember. Just look around.
The rear end takes gear lube .I like to use full synthetic. 80w90 or 70w140 something like that. Just unbolt the cover and clean it up, then I used a sheet of cork to make a gasket and used a little silicone on each side to help it seal. |
