Default correct spark plug

Hi as my name states I am a "new b" to the golf cart world and I want to tune up my cart do to what sounds like a backfire. my engine is a FE290D-AS17 and I believe it calls for a NGK 4006 spark plug, but i have seen other people talking about other plugs for the same model. Are some better? the cart seems kind of jerky when starting off. Any and all tips are appreciated!!!

Thanks for reading
