Default 1994 Club Car DS

Gas cart runs good but when it gets hot (not every time) but never when I just start driving you go to push on gas be nothing happens no sounds or movements
I can wait a little while and back running fine

Since issue I've replaced solenoid starter/generator and a few micro switches trying to find the problem

When the cart fails to run, is the solenoid clicking ? If no, is there power going to the solenoid ? If no, is there power going to the pedal switch ? You're going to have to find out these things to know where your system is breaking down at.

I don't every hear the solenoid running or not but I definitely hear nothing when it doesn't go

It does seem that when it's not going if I push the pedal down real hard it's starts going. I tried to chase the issue but I need a wiring diaphragm
With the power flow.

If pressing the pedal hard will make it engage then it makes it sound like a bad pedal microswitch.

What would cause the cart to not do anything when hot

Microswitches replaced, solenoid replaced, starter/generator replaced

I need help on this one

With a volt ohm meter, place the black lead on battery negative post. Place the red lead on the big lug of the solenoid on the side that goes to the starter. Mash pedal. Do you show battery power through the solenoid to the starter ? If you will check this when it won't go you can rule out the pedal switch and solenoid. If there IS power going to the starter and it is not turning, then you have to find out why. Is the starter failing, or is the motor binding so the starter can't turn it ? If you are for some reason building up raw gas on top of the piston it will lock the motor so the starter can't turn it. You're going to have to track it down one step at a time and find out if the starter is getting no power to run, or getting power and can't run.

Okay update

After long riding the battery itself drops below 12v as it sits it goes back to 12v and runs

So I'm thinking

1) bad battery or connection
2) bad starter/generator (but it's new)
3) bad voltage regulator

Any advice on figuring out which one it is

With the cart running, read across the battery posts. If the generator is charging and the regulator is working, you should be reading about 14 volts. If it's reading 12 flat, the generator is not charging. On an EzGo I would say disconnect the small green wire from the generator and see what output voltage you have when running to determine if the problem is the generator or regulator, but I'm not familiar with Club Car wiring. I think on a Club car it is a yellow wire from the generator to the voltage regulator and then a red from the regulator to the battery positive at the solenoid. You would need to read the yellow wire from the generator, and then read the red back to battery positive.
