Oooh, those are sweet. What size are they?

Re: Low Profile Tire
SO, would they fit without a lift? Would spacers be required?
I have a Tourall and wouldn't mind a set of wheels like that if I don't have to lift it. |

Re: Low Profile Tire
The wheel/tire combo in question has the same total diameter as standard golf cart issue. This combo is wider overall, but the offset of the rim takes care of that. No lift required, and no clearance issues should occur.

Don't cut and run on us! The purpose of my posts was simply to bring to light that you should never make infatic statements from a position of complete ignorance. And as you say yourself, "it would seem to me that it would be cruel to sugar coat the response." People come here and ask questions looking for good answers. We make every attempt to give them good answers and not answers steeped in ignorance and prejudice. In closing, I've obviously looked at your profile and your cart. As you say, "How you dress yourself and how you "dress" your equipment says things about a person." Please help me figure out what this says about you? I'm real new to determining a person’s character based on how they dress their equipment and could use an obvious experts help. |

Re: Low Profile Tire
Perhaps Jim is confused with the definition of "low profile tire"? If he is referring to the thin rubberband 20 aspect ratio tires some of the brothers are mounting to 24" cheese slicer wheels on their lifted Chevrolet Caprices, I would agree with his statement of them being useless and simply a fashion statement. Darn silly looking too, I might add.
But, we didn't hear that from Jim. We just heard that low profile tires hurt performance, and that NASCAR doesn't use them. |
