Re: 13hp clone
I've enjoyed reading several post on this and other sites about clone installs but this one really has my attention. I'm starting to see how people get hooked on reality TV as I have to check this everyday to see what's happened. Please keep us posted.
Are you using all the factory linkage for throttle? |

Re: 13hp clone
Ok guys... I'm struggling to find a belt for this clone motor! Someone out there has to know of something that I can use. I've tried and tried to find something that will work.
Help guys!!! I wanna be rolling... Thought I would have it done this weekend! What did you other clone guys use? |

Re: 13hp clone
I learned that you either gotta use the stock belt or switch to a a 1 3/16" belt if you cant.

Re: 13hp clone
Well unfortunately I can't use the stock belt since I had to move the motor up two inches. So technically I need a 4" longer belt. That I can't find. . .
What about the other Clone guys... What have you been using? |

Re: 13hp clone
Looks like I'm going to have to go to a 1 3/16 " X41 and make a new mounting bracket for the motor.

Re: 13hp clone
If you have to make a new motor mount try to slot your mounting holes.
This will give you a little adjustment on your belt length. 1 3/16 X 41 is what I'm running. I used a cloth tape measure to get my length. lay tm down inside the drive or front clutch on the shaft, go around the outside edge of the driven or rear clutch and get your length. This worked for me....just my 2 cents, Bryan |
