Ezgo-77 you are in the racing forum and asking about stock speed controllers

That's like asking about gramma's 6 banger on a Nascar forum.

Choosing the right controller is a matter of identifying working loads, expectations, and budgets....

so no, stock is no good! You can sell it for a couple bucks if you upgrade though

Get a min. of a 400 amp or up. The bigger you go the better

Wow, Ok I'll see If I can help a little.

Your stock one you could get from $100-$200 for (at least I have)

As far as brands, I can't say what is better. I use a Logisystems in my drag cart, and so do a few other racers. (of corse my drag cart is not done yet so I can't tell you how I like it.) Alltrax makes a good controller, and a lot of cart manufactures use Curtis...

If you are looking for real fast you will need more than just a controller change. I don't knw how accurate I am with this, but I believe the bigger the controller (at same voltage) gives more torque, but a better motor will give you more speed (and more torque in some cases) but the bigger motors will also require a controller change.

You could really help us help you, if you tell us what your intentions with your cart would be.(drag racing, everyday driving, 25,35,45,100 mph, hills, work, ect) And what make and model it is....
