Gas Pedal
I noticed on my 97 G16 that there is a black rubber bumper on the back side of the gas pedal, just wondering if this is taken off, will it give you more throttle, also what's aproximate stock speed on a gas Yamaha with 6" lift, and 22" tires?

Re: Gas Pedal
Caddy, I cut that whole aluminum stop off of mine. In fact, I shortened the throttle pedal about an inch to get full throttle. Worked well and the way I sanded it, can't tell anything was ever done to it. Get you a picture if you need.
i gps's mine at 29 some time ago. Probably wind at my back or something!! |

Re: Gas Pedal
I get probably 95% throttle opening this way, and the pedal is still at a comfortable angle!
The gov. is by-passed, don't know if this works with the extra cable and such! |
