1982 Harley DX4 QUESTIONS
Hello everyone,
I recently bought a 1982 Harley Davidson 4 wheel golf cart. The guy I bought it from did not know much about it so hopefully y'all can help. First of all do you have to mix the gas? 2nd From what I have read its best to just change the wheels to raise it up. Is that true and could you recommend a tire size?? 3rd The cart is pretty ruff, I am a hunter and basically want camo on it, any suggestions?? paint? Stickers?? Kits?? 4th Is there a govenor on the motor?? Thanks alot |

Re: 1982 Harley DX4 QUESTIONS
Use taller wheels to give you more axle ground clearance raising the body will not do it! Use spray cans for camo design in paint. I don't think you have an auto oiler on an 82 but I am not sure. No oil tank-- mix 1.5 oz 2 cycle oil to 1 gal. gas. The governor probably has been removed.

Yeah I do believe the governor has been removed, it scoots pretty good.
Thanks for the tip about just using spray can for the camo, do u think I should do any sanding just to get the dirt off?? Thanks for all the info |
