Melex 512E Speed and Torque Questions.....
Enjoying all the information on here. I just bought a 512E for my kids and it is very slow uphill. Like crawling. Flat it appears to be OK but takes time to get up to speed. This is a 2 HP / 2800RPM GE Motor. I thought with the lower RPM the torque would be better. I have read that the cause of the problem could be a speed solenoid but was just wondering what everyone thought. Am I just expecting more than this cart will do? Motor going bad? Both?
