2001 Ezgo Robin 2cylinder low compression.
Hello guys. I got ahold of a non running Ezgo txt with the 2 cylinder Robin engine. The cart has bad compression one cylinder is only about 50 and the other is about 80. Put some oil in the plug holes and it increases the compression drastically. So it sounds like I need a rebuild. What should I buy and do that would be a cheap way to get her running again. I plan to swap a big block motor into it in the future but I want to get her running for a few months or a year with the Robin before spending on a new motor. So should I just do pistons and rings?? Any input is appreciated.

Check valve adjustment first, remove rocker cover, turn cam so lobes are down. Set at .004" clearance. Recheck compression.
