Default 2006 Yamaha G22 Tow Switch issue

So I have 2006 G22 and for the life of me cannot figure out why it will run when thet ow/run switch is not even connected. Ive even tried putting a new switch in and still it will run whether or not a switch is in place and in either tow or run position. Also tried just a normal toggle just to see if that would fix it and still runs. Ive traced the wires in the harness but can’t seem to find an issue with it. Otherwise the cart runs fine. The original reason for working on the cart was to replace the accelerator stop switch. Any help on this would be great.

I bet you have hidden corrosion in the harness.

Whole wire harness assembly (ju2-h2590-10-00) is still available for $205.

Man that’s definitely not what I wanted to hear lol. But all else fails a new harness should definitely be in order. Ive got 4 or 5 used harnesses that I could try also but they are all the same age. Only other changes made to the cart has been installing a 48/12v reducer, battery volt meter and 12v acc plug. But those are all wired to the key switch and batteries. I may try and disconnect them one at a time to see if any of them are the cause as well.
