Ground is atrtached to the body via one of the bolts that holds the coil.

The plastic casing that covers the engine has 2 raised screw mounts on the front that are the exact spacing to moun the coil. Just below that is a bolt going thru the plastic that I think is actually going into the engine casing. would this be for the ground? Nothing else is attached to this bolt.

Correct. Ground it by going back to the negative battery terminal or A1 of the starter gen..

There is a ground wire in the loom with a loop in it that goes on the coil screw that grounds it, I never looked at where the wire goes, black wire iirc. Its with the other wires for coil.
On right screw see the loop and black wire
It will not link ebay 260602039445
