Looking good (apart from the neck cranking pictures) 70 + years old and he needed undercarriage lights ffs ? Did his Geritol not hang tight in the cup holders ? I digress; simple speed is easily obtained but you have to temper it with regard to the operator. My cart pulls an easy 25 / 30 mph @ 3600 RPM's but is driven by responsible people. Not all things are equal, if your grandchildren ride it then keep it "as is" but if your into wife swapping sprints between chalets on the campsite then speed upgrades are recommended.
