Don has been going through the motors today. He said clutch side of the 18's crank has been cut off but the crank in the 14 fits perfectly.

The 14 crank fits but the stroke is too short. Need a crank from an 18hp.

Ebay is your friend But for me I hate to gamble so I bought a new take out from performance V twin it was 175 dollars also not there are to different style cranks a new style and an older version something to do with the groves on the mains.
I was also informed the 18-23 hp all use the same crank and rods.
