Speeding up a Tomberlin E2 48SS
Anyone out there know how to speed up the 2010, E2 48SS by Tomberlin? It has a 500AMP Curtis controller. Just looking to get to the 30's.

You will need the OEM Curtis software, a computer and some cables.
If you have the capability to reprogram the controller you may be able to get the cart up to 30. From a liability standpoint, if you are looking for someone to do it for you, it likely won't happen. |

Thanks for that info. Is 30 mph the max that it can be tweaked up too? Will the hand held programer do the same and if not does the microsoft kit come with cables. I have no problem doing the job myself, figured that the dealer wouldnt because of liability issues.

30 is about the max you can tweak these to.
I think the 1311 handheld programmer will work but you would need to make sure it has the OEM program. The software version is 1314, located here: http://software.informer.com/getfree...4-pc-download/. There are 4 levels of programming available for these. |

Thanks for that info but I thought i would be able to get a little more out of it. so you think the software verion is better than the hand held. do you know if the software version comes as a kit i.e. cables wires and all needed to do the change. Again, thanks or your help.
