Default More speed 04 CC precedent

I have been searching and seems to be the PQ purple motor would be a better upgrade than code 4. I haven't pulled out the GPS I would say we are some where about 14 mph on code 3. I had a DS prior and would like to get back around that 23-25 mph range. All driving will be flat ground moslty playing golf or riding kids around the neighborhood. I will also be putting a small lift with larger tires, eventually. Riding this thing is like watching paint dry. Also will that motor cut out the automatic braking, assuming that it is the actual motor braking? I apprecaite the help, just wanting to get more speed.

My cart is a 2006 Precedent and I've done to it what you are suggesting. Code 4 without larger tires will get you around 19.7 MPH. A motor upgrade will get you 22-23mph without larger tires and with the tires, 25-26mph. The Regen braking will be gone as well. So you're thinking is correct.

Buy the motor. While I don't have a PQ I have a similar one and you will not be disappointed.

Where is a good place to get 4 gauge cables? I see them on the net but can't tell the quality.

My brother made mine. You can probably get everything at a welding supply.

East Coast Custom Carts, Inc. is where I got mine, they are a sponsor here.

With out a motor and only a lift with 22" tires on 14" rims, I was able to get to 24 mph. Im anxious to see what you achieve.

I plan on getting the gps out this weekend and get my exact mph at different intervals to get a good comparison. By the time I purchase code 4 make two trips to the dealer for the install, I can pay for the motor. I am still trying to decide on the lift. I want it only to get a larger tire not worried about ground clearance. I am looking at 3" but not sure what size wheel/tire combo will fit. I would like the larger rims with low profile tires. I plan to put the motor on first test then when funds allow add lift and wheels then test. Thanks for your help. If any of you know what size tires will fit with 3 or 4 inch lift I am curious to know.
