Headlight problems for EZGO gas Sport ST 01'
Hello All,
First off, thanks for being here. I've acquired a used EZGOI Workhorse ST Sport (if that's the correct way to lay it out...) that has headlights, but they don't work. The cart runs forward, back, starts well, newer battery, but when I turn the key to it's final "light" setting... no headlights. Any thoughts on how to proceed to look for the problem... suggestions on troubleshooting if the problem isn't obvioius. Finally, when the headlights aren't working, what is typically the problem? Thanks for any assistance with this... Regards, Rob |

check the fuse box and see if any of the fuses are blown and if they are replace them with the same amperage of the one that was removed. if there are none blown i would start checking voltage in each light and c if theres any voltage

On mine the final 'headlight' position on the ignition was bad....I added a light switch.

I guess that depends on who/how it was wired. I always try to keep the fuse near the battery. In somes cases I suppose they could be near the switch?

I've seen them corrode up on the connector that hooks to the battery, they'll look ok, like it's hooked up and everything's alright but it's not making contact because of the corrosion. most lights run through that fuse box but without looking at it, it's hard to say what someone has done to the cart

Re: Headlight problems for EZGO gas Sport ST 01'
The connection, close to the battery, was a bit corroded... I took it apart, put it back together a couple of times... no change. I changed out fuses and the key switch. Any recitifier or capacitor or relay that could be a prob? ~ rob
