Allied lithium batteries wont charge
I have a club car ds using 2 48v allied batteries. I've used my golf cart almost everyday for 3 months playing 18 holes, charging after I play no problem. Today I plugged in the charger and the charger has power but when I plug into golf cart nothing happens. The volt meter is showing 72% full.
If anybody has any ideas please let me know. Thanks |

Re: Allied lithium batteries wont charge
If you have 72% the charger should turn on, so that's what I'd think the charger or charge port are bad.
Verify the battery voltages with a DVM then look at the connector for the charge port. |

Re: Allied lithium batteries wont charge
There is a 30 amp fuse in the charger port. It is hard to spot because it is covered over with plastic. If this fuse is blown there is no way to detect it. since it is embedded in the port you cannot test it. I would change the charge port you can get one on ebay.
