Default Adding a 12 volt plug and a USB plug to dash of 2015 RXV, Dealer or Do It Yourself?

I have a 2015 RXV 48 volt electric cart with lights, signals, and horn. It already has a 48v to 12 volt converter on board. Is adding a 12v power plug and a USB plug something I can do myself, or should I let the dealer install it? Anyone here done this? What should I expect to pay for this service at the dealer? Thanks!

If you already have the converter it is just a matter of running the wires from the output to the new USB port you mount. Just don’t mess with any other wires.

If you already have the voltage reducer the wiring is pretty straight forward. Your bigger issue may be figuring out where you want to mount it (combined unit or 2 separate? ) and neatly cutting the opening for it. Dealer might charge an hour or so labor. Hourly labor rates can vary quite a bit depending on your location.

I installed this one that I picked up off amazon in my 2011 RXV. Pretty straight forward once you run the wiring. Two USB outlets, a 12V outlet, and a built in on/off toggle switch.
