Default Smokes on inital cold start

My 2015 G29 smokes on initial start up and goes away and the shop said they all do that because of the valve stem. Anyone else have this problem or herd of such a issue?

I've had and have several from new to old Yamahas and none of them did that, maybe find a new shop?
Anywho, does it do it when the weather is warm or just cold outside or all the time?
Condensation smoke or oil?

I just picked it up about 4 weeks ago, it had way too much oil in it when I got and the valve cover gasket was leaking pretty good. Also, it would act like it was flooding itself and pretty much die about 200 ft, then after choking it and giving it some gas pedal, it came alive and would not do that until it sat. I got the oil changed, carb cleaned, and the oil leak fix.

It is white smoke, then goes away when it warms up

I would almost lean toward condensation collecting in the exhaust over night and burning off once you start driving. try putting it in a garage one night and see what happens the next morning.
Also, if it dissipates quickly once it leaves the exhaust verses lingering it is probably condensation.

Well, had the valves adjusted and a leaky valve gasket, the cart runs like new now. No smoke.
