Oh yeah. If you upgrade to Don's Hot Setup, you will experience an even higher level of performance The machine work on the carb is impressive. I'm not saying it will outperform the 460, but I don't think you can maintain the "stock" platform--which is what I want to do--and have a faster or quicker cart. Maybe if you did head work and added a performance cam --upgrades on most 460's-- the comparison would be different.
We've had Don's input on the durability of the Yamaha 301 and 357 engines. |
