Ok guys, Got the new DPI charger in on Friday and I charged cart over the weekend. When charging was complete each battery checked out at around 13.3 and the pack was around 53.2. Drove for about 20 mins solid and each battery was around 12.6 with pack was 50.9ish. Delivered cart to customer and he played 18 holes of golf without any issues. Looks like it was the charger.

Thanks everyone for your help and Im sure I'll have another issue coming your way shortly.

If grey wire from charge port to pack positive is damaged, you will get this problem.
Grey wire should have black rectangular plastic block on it.
If black box is missing or melted, replace charger port.

the charger should be checked on known good RXV-- charger probably ok.
use known good (QE)charger to check charge port.

Customer should leave QE charger plugged in to cart when cart is not in use.

Charging 2 or 3 times a week not good for batteries.
QE charger will not overcharge batteries.
Another bit about the "grey wire", it has two small wires in it leading to a temp sensor at the "black box". This sensor is fairly susceptible to corrosion damage. The sensor, by itself (much cheaper than a whole recepticle) is available from "fullriver batteries", a authorized Delta-q distributor (the manufacturer of the charger and recepticle).

Great!! good news now just try to convince him to keep the charger plugged in when not in use. Get this. I I had my local Yamaha dealer salesman tell me that I need to run my cart until batteries are nearly dead before recharging I I tried to convince them otherwise to no avail. Thank you and Merry Christmas to all the BGW contributors and readers just think of all the extra years of use people have gotten out of their batteries because of BGW

Hello all. Looking for some help. This is as similar issue I can find so wanted to add to this thread.

2013 RXV. Four New US 12v in June. Cart has been working well until last week and had to get pushed home after 18. Never had this issue since I replaced batteries 5 months ago. Charger is charging but for the life of me I can’t figure out why but my third battery in the pack is not taking the charge. I’m getting 15.5v on each battery while charging , except the third battery from the main positive cable, the battery under driver. It’s only showing 12.7v with charger on and others get up to 15.5 or within .2 of each other.

So I tested SG on low battery and all cells were all very low. Replaced this one with new battery under warranty and moved new battery to the middle and the middle battery to the 3rd location I was having issues with. I charged pack and then charged new battery with 12v car charger overnight (as it was lower than others before I charged pack. This helped after one charge but was still 45% SOC after 18 holes which is low.

Today I drove 2 miles to the club and it dropped to 79% SOC. Rode with someone else for 18 and drove it home another 2 miles and it was at 72% SOC.

Put on my charger and it did the normal long green light chargw up to 60v. But now again the 3rd battery is not charging like the others. I bought new cables when I replaced them 5 months ago. So I changed them back to the old ones and still getting same voltage. This is not making sense to me, the charger doesn’t know to not charge this one battery for whatever reason.

So , i plugged into my neighbors same QE charger for RXV , however his sharts charging then kicks off and a few seconds later kicks back on and keeps doing this but no red light flashes. So quit using it so I didn’t mess his up.

I am stumped. Cart runs strong @20 mph but range is terrible. My voltage drop up hills is going down to like 43v and seems it did not use to go that low.

Will replace all batteries if needed but seems something else is causing this but doesn’t make any sense other than my neighbors charger starting and stopping.

Hope this makes sense. Anyone ran into this?
