Re: Hot wired through batt meter
THANKS JOHNNIE B!!!
Did the jumper from "I" post after removing and taping white. Tried the old meter first and it worked. The key also works as well. I had fixed the tail lights earlier(burnt bulbs). Will tackle headlights tomorrow. Was trying to figure if brake lights were optional on these 2009-10. there are only two 12v fuses one is lights the other is red horn I think. |

Re: Hot wired through batt meter
Not sure why the old meter wasn't working. Jumping the two red wires on it should have had it turned on all the time.
Do yourself and your batteries a favor and replace the LED Bar-graph type meter with a DVM type. http://www.cartsunlimited.net/Digita...ry_Meters.html Also, if you use the 12V lights and accessories much, install a DC-DC converter (aka Voltage reducer) instead of just tapping two batteries for 12V, which imbalances the pack and shortens the batteries' lifespan. http://www.cartsunlimited.net/DC_Reducer.html --------- I'm not sure what the optional lighting package(s) included. The accessory wiring diagram shows head, tail and brake lights as well turn signals and horn, plus 48V bed lift and battery meter. Give EZGO a call, they might be able to tell you. |
