01 ezgo forward/revers

I was wondering if any body knew what was wrong with my 2001 ezgo 36volt golf cart. I buy past the run/tow switch, and know it only wants to go forward (in farward and revers) does any one have any clue what could be wrong?

Why would you bypass the tow/run switch?. It is probably the controller. They are very sensitive, which is the reason for the tow/run switch.

The PDS controller commonly fails in one direction, It is more common to just have reverse but I have seen forward only failure. Good excuse for a 400 amp upgrade with 24 mph
