Default help with changing motor

just got plumquick bandit in mail today and planning to take out old Advanced DC motor from 99 TXT series cart. Before beginning wanted to ask for some guidance. Using the link below as reference point but have a few additional questions.

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/membe...s-team-pq.html

1. I have a 4' lift on cart, do I still need to put cart on Jack stands?

2. what can i use to clean the splines once old motor is removed

3. post mentions anti seize compound is the stuff at oreillys or autozone sufficient

4. which battery cables (if any) need to be disconnected before beginning.

also, if there's anything i failed to mention or consider please let me know

1. No but may make it easier. Take the motor cover off and wrap a rope or strap around the motor help lower it. New one has a handle.

2. Brake cleaner should work.

3. Yep.

4. Take the battery pack mains loose before you start.. And make sure to hold the lower nut on the stud..

Thanks KGSC! headed to oreillys for anti seize compound and brake cleaner and will be getting started once i get back. i've got some rope and will be sure to tie it pretty tight, these darn things are pretty heavy, especially in such a small space.

will post some pics as i'm trucking along.
