Solenoid clicks but mo reverse - help me grand masters
Cart fine forward - switch to reverse solenoid clicks but no power
What do look for?  Thanks!!  |

Have a heavy duty F&R and the solenoid clicking while in reverse leads me to believe that's not the issue

Clicking in reverse and no movement is exactly what leads me to the F&R. If the solenoid were not clicking, i would say check microswitches @ F&R, but they are working fine.

If the solenoid clicks in F&R and the motor run in one direction the problem is in the high amperage delivery system.
Since you have a HD F&R we assume series drive and since the series cart goes in any direction we rule out batteries, motor, controller, solenoid, and solenoid activation switches and wiring. That leaves cables and F&R. simple test for the F&R is swap cables at 9 and 3 oclock locations. If the problem swaps direction the F&R switch contact has failed. |
