Default Cooler options?

Want to install a cooler on the cart - but want/need it to be hidden - don't want a side cooler.

Was thinking of making something that fits under the rear access panel with a 'pop up' can dispenser.

Anyone done or seen any creative cooler installs?

Never seen but I love the idea and with a pop up can dispenser sounds awsome

Took some quick measurements - and this is looking more possible. Access panel is approx 10 x 15 - cooler is exact same size!

Haven't located a pop up dispenser yet - but it's got to be out there. I think I've seen a shotgun style spring loaded option once. If not may just go standard cooler and do something cool with the access panel cover.

More to come - Another project!!

When measuring clearances under the access panel, be aware that the motor moves during acceleration and braking.

Unless you install traction bars, the rear leaf springs are going to "Snake" when torque is applied to the rear tires.

With 23" tires, your D&D motor will likely move forward and back quite a ways.

THANK YOU for this! probably saved me a lot of time and frustration. Will leave 4" of clearance

Ok - so I have this cooler on the way from amazon - should be the perfect fit. Planning on cutting out center of access panel and replacing with cooler. Plan is to have the top 3"'s with lid sit above access panel and additional 7" below panel. Hoping to mount with L brackets and add additional support of expanding foam.

I'll have to add a drain plug - or may just go with cooler packs to nix any drainage issues.

More to come - another weekend project!!

Ok - so cooler came in today - amazing how well it fits, takes a few hard taps to squeeze in and sits pretty solid while in place. I may not really have to mount it but will for safety. Planning on using 'L' brackets and self tapping screws to create a bracket and hold in place. Going to cut out the access panel to slide into place with top portion of cooler 'white' sitting above panel. The cooler opens to full position and is very easy to access (with sealtbelt bracket off - have to figure that out tomorrow)

More to come but almost there.
