They both sound like interesting options and I am interested. I will get back to you soon.

I agree with cgtech. I helped a friend do the upgrade to the 350 Curtis and Freedom mode wasn't enabled out of the box. It still needed the unlock key.

So what does everyone recommend as the best path to upgrade a Danaher RXV so that it can go 19.5 mph? I ask, because I think there are only 2 options:
1) Take it to the dealer - Not really practical for me.
2) Buy a Danaher handset with Freedom mode enabled (Doesn't seem to be an option)
3) Upgrade the controller to a Curtis, and then take it to the dealer or buy a handset. Seems to be the most expensive option.
4) Buy a Danaher/Curtis controller that already has Freedom mode enabled. Probably the easiest option.

Thoughts?

Thoughts? -Here goes-

curtis handset cannot unlock the "freedom mode" on curtis, only "passkey" can (theres a guy on here with a passkey that he rents uses of). the danaher controller can be unlocked by anyone with the danaher programmer who knows the secret code (its not a "special" danaher handset with automatic speed-unlocking superpowers, you still have to know the code).

So if I purchase the Danaher handset from FSIP all I need to do is figure out the 'secret code' and then I can unlock Freedom mode?

I think I would drive 200 miles trailering my cart before I spent $1500 on a handheld controller but that's just me.
