2 Green and 3 Red Altrax SPM error Code

Can Anybody comment on this?

Getting and error code from altrax SPM 48500
- 2 green flashes then 3 red flashes (High throttle Over range)

The cart is 96 DCS ezgo txt converted to series.
SPM 48500
SW202 reversing contactor
48volts (6x8v) pack reads 50.1

Check the voltage between the black and white wires going to the ITS sensor.

Should be 10V with pedal pushed just far enough to make solenoid click and 6V when pedal is on floor.

Has the pedal box gotten wet recently?

Not sure if the cart's been wet as of late since I bought it used. Apparently its been sitting outside for a couple years. It was extremely beat up and didn't run. That cart has never ran as this is a fresh build. I've got the ITS box open and am trying to get a voltage reading there but am getting nothing.

So this setup has never ran, that do make a difference in t-shooting.

Ohm the Black wire from the controller to the ITS sensor in the pedal box. Then ohm the white one.

Since this was a DCS originally, it might have an in-line connector between the pedal box and controller.

Whatever voltage you get between the black and white wires at the controller, you ought to get at the ITS sensor.

Tested and the black wire must have an internal break. I quickly mocked up another wire and ran it from the ITS to the controller and the wheels spin:thumb up:
Well, lets see how long this success lasts and what the next issue is!
