Default Flat Free Tires

My cart is stored at a lake 90 miles from my house during the summer. If often sits for weeks at a time. Often one or more tires is low or near flat. Even after pumping them up I get a thumpy ride. I have seen airless tires offered but they are about $1k per set.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a DIY process to foam fill tires or companies that foam fill your tires.

BTW, I have tried the green stuff tire sealer with no success.

You are possibly experiencing bead leaks as those are tubeless tires. You could consider having inner tubes installed to cure the leaks, although tubes won't cure the "thumpy" ride. I installed a set of new tires and wheels on mine and that cured my "thumpy ride. RAY

If the pressure would stay up the thumping is not an issue. My local cart shop is selling "take off" OEM tires/wheels for $40 for a set of 4 but my still get leakers. Maybe some new ones would be a good idea.

unbead tire-apply sealant(rubber cement, rtv, contact adhesive, ect)reinflate and see if they leak down.

Thanks for the link but $185 per tire is out of my interest range.

The foam filled tires are INCREDIBLY heavy. And they have a huge impact on acceleration & braking (and range I assume). We had a landscaping customer buy a newer used cart to replace his worn out old, old cart. He wanted his foam filled tires put on the newer cart, it instantly tripled the braking distance.

I have another tire question. I have the OEM Carlisle tires. I don't know if these are two ply or not. Would a 4 ply street rated tire reduce the flat spot thumping?
