Default RXV will only move maybe 1/2 mph

2010 rxv will only move maybe 1/2 mph with full charge. Can anyone tell me if they have had this issue before or where to start to looking????

If you are not handy with a volt meter, send it in. If you are handy with DVM, download the Danaher Rxv troubleshooting guide & start with the tests that don't require an oscilloscope, like the temp sensor.

A bad motor speed sensor can cause this.

I just went through this same issue, and mine was the encoder bearing. Shop wanted close to $500 to replace and i was able to order the part on halloween with 15% off for $135 shipped. Of course i had to pay the $100 diagnostic fee also, but saved half the cost. My cart is a 2009 rxv.

Ok I will check the encoder bearing then. Sounds like a normal problem for the RXV

Yeah, you will be right one of these times... I'm just wondering how these folks are "checking" the encoder. With oscilloscope?

Could have a bad battery unit goes into limp back home mode check it when driving with a volt meter

When driving at 1/2 mph? That's not the "Rxv limp mode" I know.
