Default Will new wheels give me more speed?

I have stock 8" wheels on my cart. Will going up to 10" give me a little more speed. With my current Western 42 vivolt cart I'm getting 22 mph. Thx.

you will only increase (top end) speed if you change the overall diameter of the tire itself . if you stay with same stock 18"(roughly) tire on 10" rims you gain nothing that you would notice

When looking at listed tire sizes, be suspicious until you measure for your self. Many are nowhere close to listed size. Like said above, overall tire size changes speed, not rim size. Generally, 10" tire/wheel sets are a little bigger than stock 8"/18"tire

I noticed that, a buddy has 12" on his Club Car but overall height was only about an inch taller.

You have to be careful not to go too much larger on tire size if your cart isn't lifted. They will rub in the fenders.
