Yamaha Drive - Lithium Upgrade w/ Vortex Body
2011 Yamaha Drive G29 – Cart Rebuild and Lithium Pack Installation
Installed a new DoubleTake Vortex body, new factory seats and deluxe light Kit. This cart has an Alltrax XCT 48400 controller, Admiral MOT-D2 motor, 12x7” wheels and 255/50-12 Tires. Range on a single lithium pack is 22-25 miles. Top speed - 31mph. Comfortable cruise speed 25-27mph The battery tray has a 1½“ divider sticking up from the bottom of the battery tray that must be cut flush with the tray and removed. Then pack can be installed. To the immediate right of the pack is the On-Board charger. Right of that is the 48-12V DC-DC converter. On the back wall is the 6 circuit fuse panel with ground bus for all of the accessories, lights, horn, turn signals, BreezeEasy Blower, USB charging outlet. The original charger receptacle has been replaced with Marinco boat male shore receptacle with cover. Connect to the cart with extension cord. The seat support at the rear of the battery compartment has been covered with .060 aluminum to create a back-plate for the installation of the fuse panel, Tow-Run switch relocated to it and a place to mount the ANL fuse holder for the Alltrax controller. Helps to prevent dirt and water from entering battery tray as well.
