Default Cowl trim - "T" nut solution

Well I was an idiot when I got the Carryall and ripped right into it and tore everything off. Including the cowl trim and the dreaded "T" nuts slid right onto the garage floor...I figured I'd deal with it when the time came. Well the "time" to deal with it was today. Tried several different methods that I have found here on the forum, but none worked for me.
So here is what I did.
Went to Home Depot and got a stick of #8/32 all thread and #8/32 stop nuts. I cut four pieces a bit long and screwed them into the "T" nuts. Next I positioned the cowl trim and the all thread went right through the holes.
Next I screwed the rods all the way in by hand, then I put the stop nuts on.
Then I tightened the stop nuts down and cut off the excess threads with the Dremel.
I used the stop nuts on purpose. These will now essentially be screws so when I go to loosen, the all thread will back out of the "T" nut just like the screws should...and NO, next time I will not remove them!!!

Thought this might help anyone having this same issue.

These little buggers are a P A I N !!!

All thread on the "T" nut.

Through the holes, ready to tighten.

Ready to go. Put the cowl on, tighten the nuts and cut off excess thread!!!

Here, simple solution....just use a zip tie and slip the T nut up into position, super easy.
And as you have learned, don't every remove the bolt completely
