Default Go not smooth... V-Glide to MCOR conversion?

Hello everyone!

I have a stock 2000.0 DS which I'm loving except for one small thing. I don't like the stepping go pedal. I drive mostly at speeds less than 10 mph on relatively flat streets and gravel. I'm always having to give it more pedal and then back off to maintain the speed I'm looking for.

Outside of changing the resistor values of the v-glide to create smaller steps in the beginning with a couple of big jumps at the end, would changing to an mcor give me the smooth control I seek? Is converting to an mcor even a possibility? Or am I just creating monster headache for myself.

i'm no expert on this but looking at the 2000 48v diagrams it looks like a mocr can replace the v-glide

you would need a mocr and accelerator linkage

the guy who will know is Dave Hicks of revolution golf cars (TahoeDawgZ71)
but he is on vacation til June 6th ... i will pm him and maybe he can help more

The MCOR4 has infinite possibilities when it comes to throttle range. The V-Glide only has 5 positions. That's why it's jerky. This is amplified even more so when controllers and motors are upgraded. The kit you would need to make the conversion would be AM293201 Pre-MCOR to MCOR4 conversion kit. It includes everything you need. Let me know if you have any further questions.
