Default Lestronic charger fuse blowing

My charger blew one side of the fuse when I hooked it up yesterday. I plugged into cart, then plugged into AC and it blew. I should add this is a 36 volt, 25 amp, model 8714

I checked the diodes twice, they have some resistance one way, infinite resistance the other.

The polarity of cart receiver plug is correct, visually and with a volt meter.

According to everything I've read, these are the two problems that would cause the fuse to blow. I have another fuse coming but I need to figure this out first. Fuses are $25 now.

Any ideas of where I should look?

I've gone thru transformer testing, cap testing. All good. Transformer always hummed. It now charges again, but I don't know why the fuse blew. I'm putting the new fuse in and goin on down the road.

I've taken apart chargers to find a good sized "June bug" fried itself across a couple of terminals. Or at least that's what I think it was. Hard to tell for sure all burnt & crispy.
