I am also upgrading to 2 gage cables on my 2008 Precedent, however my green S1 cable from the motor to the controller has a yellow pigtail on it going to the selinoid. Do I upgrade the yellow wire to 2 ga also? I hope I am not hijacking this thread, I've been reading a lot of posts but not posting very much. I still consider myself as a noobe.

Don't worry about hijacking the thread. we're doing the same thing, you might catch something I haven't considered or vise versa.
If what I've gathered is correct no. S1 & S2 are regen wires and don't carry that much current. A1 green & A2 white will need to be replaced, all battery cables, and 6 ga wires to controller and solenoid.

Hold on guys. If you have s1 and s2 post on your motor you have a series drive system, they need large cables. If you have f1 and f2 on your motor you have a regen drive system and only need the 10 ga wire on them.

s1 and s2 are from the controller and run to F1 & F2 on the motor. they are the "small" 10 ga wire. The "large" 6 ga wires need to be replaced.
