Default Help sell me on a 72V Txt

So I've decided to buy a golf cart.... I started primarily looking at 48V and I liked the ezgo txt as they seem reliable as any.

I came across a 2017 ezgo freedom txt 72v for around 7K. Seller says he's owned for 6 months and it has around 120 hours on it. Selling because he is moving at no longer viable.

My alternatives are buying a used/refurb 48v for around 5-6K from local dealer

Cart will be used around the neighborhood, unlikely i'll ever clear 20 miles in a day. I don't believe warranties are transferable.

Sound like a good deal?

The 72v txt has huge range. Beats RXV. For you, that means less discharge per use. Less discharge per use equals longer battery life. They are also tunable for ridiculous performance, but it's no slouch in stock form. I really like it. I don't own one, but I work at a Ezgo dealer, and have tested and tuned them.

Can it ever hamper battery life if I don't discharge enough off it? Guess that's solvable by not charging daily.

Lead-acid batteries have no memory, so they don't need to be discharged below some predetermined point before recharging.

Recharge after each use for maximum battery life.
