Re: Reverse lights
I concur, unfortunately, adding reverse lights to this is actually tricky.
You could get away with it if you made a specifically designed transistor board to handle your lights, but this on the fringes of the DIY realm for most. You could very carefully design a setup to work without reprogramming, but be careful. No matter what, don't just add that into the "reverse buzzer" circuit haphazardly. We helped "backup tunes" to do it, and theirs worked only because we showed them what couldn't be done. (They were exceptional at understanding how it worked). Everyone expects it to be as simple as a "medium duty microswitch" like the old days, but now days it just isnt like that. |

Re: Reverse lights
Since something like that is so DIY and requires electronics design experience to do without upsetting the voltage balance, I did not recommend it. Just like sensing the voltage of the reverse lead coming from the keyswitch. Too easy to screw up and damage something. |

Re: Reverse lights
Yall's knowledge amazes me every day. I am just hooking them up to a simple toggle switch run off my 12v system. Thanks.
