Re: First Cart
Look for a mid-2012 or newer E-Z-GO RXV... You can get 26 to 27 MPH with everything stock and just have the controller reprogrammed. It's the least expensive way to get both speed and torque!

Re: First Cart
If you want a second pair of eyes just PM me. I usually have my eyes open for EZGOs and know which red PDS you are talking about. If you want to test an RXV, I have a lifted 2015 with a modified 350amp controller and a stock 2016 with a modified 235 amp controller.

Re: First Cart
Stick with the cart you have. Get the Alltrax controller and when you need batteries switch to 48 volts ( 6x8 volt batteries) and get a new 48 volt charger from Scottyb. My cart does 28mph on stock motor and 48 volts. I have 20.5" tall tires. Be sure to upgrade your cables to 2ga when you install the Alltrax.

Re: First Cart
Thanks everyone.
agpfl, awesome, thanks. do you think that red cart is a good deal for that price? I just dont see anything around in the $4500 range thats 25mph. I found a 2000 club car DS series cart that looks good too, but I think it will be harder (more expensive?) to get that up to 25mph is that correct? That one has everything done except the speed part. |
