2016 g 29 Yamaha gas cart

Can someone assist me in giving the wiring diagram for the starter generator and also changed the starter brushes on the cart and now cart engine turns but does not want to kick over. Can someone assist me. Could it be connected starter bad and knocked out something. Please assist. Thanks

So,is the starter turning the motor over and its not firing or is the starter not working? If it is turning motor, are the clutches turning counter clockwise while its trying to start? Was this cart under water? why have the brushes been changed? Spent a lot of time on a LOT of g29s, only had one electrical problem, and it was a 2008 that had been under water

Its turning clockwise. The brushes were changed because they were low. Can u tell me the wiring for the starter? Can anything get knocked out because of wrong wiring? It just came in for a starter service. Now it won’t turn over. The engine turns smell gas heavy I guess it’s getting gas but not turning over.

i can go out and look in a minute at mine but if you are on the drivers side, the clutches should spin counter clockwise. If not then something is bad wrong. Also i dont understand, you say its not turning over but turning and firing. you mean its just not starting but everything is spinning?

Yes the clutches are turning but engine not starting. So your telling me the clutches should turn counter clock?

Also, i still feel like its been under water. never seen one of these starter generators wear down ever. looked at plenty well over 5 years old and still look
great. even being under water, im not sure would cause problems on that new of a cart.

Yes, top of clutch turns toward front of cart. standing on drivers side

So how should the engine be Turning clock or counter clock? Right now it’s turning clock wise? And yes it’s a flood cart

if you are on the drivers side of the cart. then you are on the clutch side of the motor staring at the belt. should turn counter clockwise at all times no matter what
