Default 2005 EZ GO TXT LED light bar mounting suggestions

Hi, new to the forum. Just got our 1st cart.
2005 EZGO TXT 36V ( I believe its a PDS as switch on dash )

My question is for mounting an LED light bar are there any factory looking mount kits that anyone makes to ease install ? I have looked all over and I see nothing. I know how to get the 12V and wire it up but I'd rather not go drilling through the cage to mount a 21" bar for better nighttime driving. Thanks in advance.

I mounted my LED light bar on the shock cover. The bar is only about 16" long, but as you can see in the picture, there is plenty of room for a longer one.

that's what I was thinking but my stock light is there and I want to keep it as well. I'm thinking of up above from the top of the canopy

My light bar is mounted above were the stock light bar mounts, so there is room.

Mounting it on the roof should be okay. The light bar probably comes with a mounting bracket. The only issue I see, other than hiding the wiring, is scattered light will illuminate the cart's nose (which can be distracting while driving) if the light is mounted too far forward on the roof.

what did you do with all the wires and bulbs from the old one ? Just disconnect them all and zip tie up in the dash ? I noticed if I pull the now dead headlight bulb from the socket the lights will not work but the blinkers will. As soon as I plug the bad bulb in the other lights work....I'm confused there...I would like to keep the blinkers but I like the look yours has.

depending on how long your light bar is....mounting it on the roof is viable, as I have done that with no problem. actually the mounting bolts go through the front of the tops front support.

My cart didn't have any lights at all when I got is, so there wasn't any old wiring and bulbs.

Looks like your lights are an aftermarket kit. Stock light bar fit in the space covered by a black protruding panel below where your light kit was installed.

The LED kit I installed has headlights, tail lights, turn signals, brake lights and a horn.

Don't know why the lights don't work right when dead bulb is removed.

I used a flat piece of steel curved it drilled holes and mounted this 22 inch curved led on it . Works great and I think it looks great Screenshot_20190606-112327_Gallery.jpg
