Re: What's the perfect cart to start with?
I'm in between Walterboro and Hampton. If I could get that cart for 800 bucks, and add new trojans, I'd come out somewhere in that neighborhood. Then I'd start the upgrades!!! I just don't want to waste my time on a hunk of junk though. lol.

Re: What's the perfect cart to start with?
Ha, Ha. That helps the thread a bunch. Yeah, I bought my ST Sport 2 new, but I can't afford to put that kind of money in a sparky. Also, I enjoy doing the upgrades and such, and I wouldn't be able to do those if I had to spend the money for a new cart. Do they even make new series carts? I guess I should have entitled the thread What's the perfect "type" of cart to start with.

I would just start watching CL in the HHI area. You can probably find a series cart that needs some work but you were going to replace those parts anyway. Just make sure the chassis and steering are ok.

Re: What's the perfect cart to start with?
Good Idea. Thanks. I work in Ridgeland, so I am pretty close to HH. I've been looking at CL in Charleston, hadn't tried HH yet.

Re: What's the perfect cart to start with?
I live in charleston and check CL everyday. it is interesting to see the different cost depending on location. Myrtle Beach is expensive.
I paid 600 for an old Marathon in Conway with bad batteries. Put batteries in and gave to my dad. runs 15mph and he loves it. Since you work in Ridgeland I would look around Savannah. |
