Whats the ratio in my rear end?
Hey guys. I've got a 1992 EZ-Go marathon that I started to build into a motorcycle powered cart and swap in a rear axle, but I have decided to temporarily mount a sprocket on the input shaft of the rear end and run a chain drive with a jack shaft system to get the right gearing. This is where you guys come in, If anyone could provide me a ratio for the gearing of the rear end (IE 12:1, 10:1, ect.) that would be incredibly helpful. With that ratio I can figure out the sprocket sizes I'd need to run for my jack shaft system.
Also, please don't post only to tell me the brakes or the rear end won't hold up. I honestly don't care, its just for fun. if the rear end explodes, so be it, the cart was free. Thanks guys! |
