quick battery question
just got my `01 txt series 36v cart going and as i read about battery break-in it was stated to do 12 charge cycles at 75% charge cap...so,my question is- if i have 25% to use-how much of that 25% do i need to drain for best results? do i need to short trip it or does it need to be run down to 75% and then charged?
just wanna get the max life and performance. thanks in advance for you knowledge. |

Re: quick battery question
The goal of the battery break-in is to do shallow discharges initially was lots of recharging.
The break-in suggestion should read use the top 25% of the pack or less and recharge. Even a 10% discharge and recharge is good. The word discharge refers to the amount of the pack that is used. A 25% discharge would leave the battery 75% charged. I hope this clarifies. |
