![]() I created an info graphic showing the differences between the cowls on older (1981-1992) and newer (1993-up) Club Car DS carts. Might help someone with an older cart who is wondering why most light/turn signal kits for sale only list for 1993-up.

![]() Thanks Lockman!
Here's an image of my own cart after my turn signal/headlight install. It's a 1987 DS with the original front cowl (it's the cart I used in the infographic above to show the older cowl). I used the aftermarket style headlights with the oversize bezel and trimmed it to fit the body line. ![]() |

![]() Thanks for making it a sticky. I have found these on amazon and look very close to my factory ones. Would these work ?

![]() Yes, from what I can see those appear to be the smaller headlights that will fit the older fronts like ours with no modifications to the headlight (you still have to cut holes in your cowl, of course).

![]() Springbok, I really appreciate the help you have given me about my clubcar. Do you happen to know what bulbs are used in the headlight and taillight assemblies.

![]() I don't know that they're all the same. So you'll just have to see what you get when your lights arrive.

![]() Springbok, what did you use to cut down the bezel on the headlight frame? I am thinking I want the larger headlights and already have the kit. Will I use the template that comes with the kit to cut my holes? Thanks!

![]() I used a Dremel with a small cutting wheel attachment (maybe 1.5" in diameter). Whether or not the larger headlights will fit depends on the style of front cowl you have as shown in the infographic.
