![]() A friend bought a Columbia Par Car from Craigslist and got a decent deal.
My knowledge is limited as I have EZs and CCs. He asked for my help to find the actual year so he could add a windshield. (It looks like it had one at one time.) I checked all the normal spots for the serial, and none existed. One spot I did find something is under the scorecard holder. This cart does not have the standard Columbia serial #, it has a 17 digit VIN. ?? The tenth digit of a standard auto VIN is the year, so this cart has a 4 there and I'm assuming it's a 2004. This brings further questions. Is this an LSV direct from Columbia? Can it be titled? (He didn't get one in the sale.) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. ![]() |

![]() What is the VIN? I can look up the information for you.
The unit would have been sold with an MCO to the original purchaser. Once issued, it can not be reissued as that could lead to potential title fraud. |

![]() Tech Support,
Thanks for the info. I'll PM you the VIN. We just want to find out if he can get a title / registration in our area. Don't know that he ever will, but it'd be nice to know. Thanks again. ![]() |
